Marchetti’s range of mobile cranes is going to be available soon in Australia through Ganz International. Marchetti have been manufacturing mobile cranes for over 60 years. Their modern factory in Piacenza, Italy covers an area of 150,000 square feet, of which 52,500 square feet is covered.
Marchetti’s range of mobile cranes includes telescopic crawler cranes and truck cranes from 25 tons to 90 tons capacity. All cranes have swing-away jibs available as options and all models may be fitted with man baskets to convert the crane to a MEWP in full compliance with EN280 and the CE directive.
Ganz Equipment are a specialized company selling equipment into the foundations and construction industry. They have a wealth of experience in retail and service/parts supply led by Managing Director David James who hails from the UK originally and has been instrumental in the emergence of Ganz International Equipment Pty Ltd.
When questioned about the name of the company Dave remarks that Ganz actually means “all or everything” in German, the company also cover ANZ which is 75% of the company’s adopted name.
Dave has worked with John Deere, Bauer, JCB, Caterpillar to name but a few and has brought together a team at Ganz that he knows will bring the kind of relationship building and quality of service that the ANZ customers are looking for.
Marchetti are but one of a few manufacturers that have started to work with Ganz Equipment NCB International SMS Vibros, Pajot, and AGD Equipment Limited UK ltd are all part of the Ganz picture. Dave says:
“We approached Robert Law from AGD Equipment Limited in the UK initially and he has helped us with the structure and introductions from manufacturers and customers alike. We have a great relationship with AGD and represent them at the highest level in the Pacific region, Robert has very exacting standards that match our own and that’s a great way to start with a business partner, Robert and AGD have a wealth of experience with Marchetti and in fact have 70 crawler cranes in their fleet of rental machines so we know the brand is top-level.”
These are exciting times watching Ganz international grow from small beginnings to a force to be reckoned within the industry, Dave knows its hard work and graft and customer service that will see them develop and he has lots of experience in running dealerships in Europe to help him and the team at Ganz to meet the challenges they face.
