The International Mining and Resources Conference + EXPO (IMARC) has been listed on the Schedule of Approved Business Events for the Australian Government’s $50 million Business Events Grants program.

The Business Events Grant program provides delegates, including buyers and sellers, with financial support to attend and participate at exhibitions, conferences, and conventions.
This initiative has been designed to restart Australia’s business events sector and encourage businesses to return to the event forum by supporting Australian businesses with grants between $10,000 and $250,000. Grant funding will cover up to 50% of eligible expenditure incurred in participating at the coming IMARC in Melbourne, from 25-27 October 2021. IMARC Managing Director Anita Richards said:
“After having to postpone IMARC in 2020 due to COVID-19, and launch IMARC Online, we are excited to welcome the industry back to Melbourne, in person, later this year. We remain committed to running our events responsibly and will be following the recommendations made by global and local health authorities.”
“As Australia’s largest mining event and one of the world’s most important meeting places for the mining and resources sector, this is an incredible opportunity and incentive for the thousands of companies that participate.”
“IMARC is where multi-million-dollar deals are done, and life-long partnerships are established. Attendees arrive every year looking for new solutions to improve the value of their business and make new, lasting connections.”
IMARC Head of Mining Equipment, Technology and Services, Paul Phelan stated:
“We will work in partnership with you to tailor a solution that underpins your marketing needs and business strategy. With packages that create a tangible return on your investment, from audience-wide opportunities to one-on-one interaction through to targeted groups. Sponsoring an event is something that can elevate a new business, but also help organizations that have been around for some time”.
