Caterpillar to Continue Relationship with Mitsubishi Logisnext in support of Cat Lift Trucks

Caterpillar Industrial, a subsidiary of Caterpillar, announces the sale of its minority shareholder interest in the lift truck business to Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America. (MCFA). The transaction is associated with Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas group becoming 100% fully owned by Mitsubishi Logisnext, which is expected to close on March 1, 2021.

Despite selling its minority interest, Caterpillar continues a long-term global strategic relationship with Mitsubishi Logisnext, continuing its decades-long tradition of providing customers innovative and forklift solutions. The experienced Cat lift truck dealer network, spanning more than 600 locations around the world, continues to provide the support demanded by customers. Phil Kelliher, Caterpillar vice president of the Americas Distribution, Service & Marketing Division, said:

The full line of Cat lift trucks includes a wide range of electric, warehouse and internal combustion forklifts across five forklift classes. The extensive Cat lift truck line spans lifting capacities from 3,000 to 36,000 lb (1 360 to 16 330 kg).
