ECCO Launches New Heavy Duty LED Beacon Exclusive for NAPA Auto Parts

With over 45 years of experience creating premium lighting and electrical products, ECCO is back with their new, high-performance, Heavy Duty LED beacon (EB8160A), exclusive to NAPA Auto Parts.

NAPA Auto Parts are the leading destination for automotive aftermarket specialists and provide a comprehensive range of products covering air conditioning, braking, clutch, driveline, electrical, engine cooling, servicing, steering and suspension, workshop tools and equipment and more.

The EB8160A is designed from the ground up right here in Australia, to stand up against the harshest of environments whilst still delivering high levels of performance. ECCO has created this new beacon for service vehicles, mining, agriculture and for other heavy-duty applications.

This beacon is designed to last, equipped with a thick, reinforced polycarbonate lens with a UV hard-coast for added protection, and a custom-designed aluminum molding that surrounds six riveted hex-bolts. It is also fully sealed from water and dust ingress, with both IP67 and IP69K protection, meaning it can handle everything you throw at it.

The EB8160A is a standout from other heavy duty LED beacons in the market as it has the best-in-class low EMC performance, backed by CISPR 25 Class 5 (30 MHz to 2.5 GHz), meaning it won’t interview with your radio and comms when out on the job.

The LED beacon also comes with a 3-stage optical system with 24 high-performance amber LEDS, offering 20 flash patterns – including a new pulse setting. The EB8160A also has auto-dimming abilities, featuring three auto-dimming patterns to deliver the optimal perfect warning intensity for most application and performance requirements.

ECCO’s LEDs also use less power than halogen alternatives and have excellent temperature management, meaning longer service life, lower maintenance costs, and reduced vehicle downtime on the job. Be assured you can rely on ECCO for high-quality, heavy duty safety lighting equipment to get the job done.
