WesTrac returns to the Sydney Dragway in April 2023 for the National Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo – Australia’s largest construction industry expo and a great day out for earthmovers and their families.
The National Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo has become Australia’s largest construction industry expo and a must-see event for earthmovers. It is a family-friendly exhibition that gives the general public a chance to see the amazing technology and innovation driving the national construction industry. If you attend this year, you’ll be able to interact with the latest Cat® equipment and technology.
DD&T has seen massive growth since its inception, going from having 33,000 attendees in 2016 to over 100,00 in 2022.
In 2023, this major event is once again being held at the Sydney Dragway (Ferrers Road, Eastern Creek) on April 21-23, from 9:30 am to 5 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 10 am to 3 pm on Sunday. There will be a $10 entry fee for adults at the door, while kids are free.
WESTRAC IS GOING BIGGER FOR DD&T IN 2023
WesTrac is back at the National Diesel, Dirt and Turf Expo for 2023 after taking out the award for the ‘Best Stand’ at the 2022 event.
This year, we’ve upped the ante with more Cat equipment, a new Cat Attachments stage, a bigger Cat merchandise selection and more. At the expo, WesTrac and Caterpillar will have a huge display that highlights some of the world’s best construction equipment, as well as technology solutions for every job.
When you visit us, you’ll be able to get up close to some big pieces of Cat construction equipment and learn about the latest technological advancements in our newest #NextGen models (like Cat Next Gen Excavators).
THE WESTRAC DIG PIT
At our site, we’ll also have a dig pit setup that’ll be used to run live demonstrations. In addition to these expert demos, you’ll be able to step into the dig pit and jump in a Cat Next Gen Mini Excavator or Cat Skid Steer Loader to move some dirt around and even complete some basic operator challenges (safely, of course).
If you’ve never had the chance to get behind the controls of a #NextGen machine, DD&T is the perfect time to give it a go.

At our site, we’ll have Jack Miller’s Cat branded Ducati race bike on display; the one he rode at the 2022 ASBK MotoGP race in South Australia.
