Sinoboom Upgrades Four of Its RT Scissor Lifts

Sinoboom has upgraded four models in its range of electric and diesel rough-terrain scissor lifts. The updated models – the 1323RD, 1323RE, 1623RD, and 1623RE – replace the previous 4389RD, 4389RE, 5389RD and 5389RE.

To improve the off-road performance, several key aspects have been adjusted. The speed ratio has been increased, with a 20% improvement in walking and climbing torque. The wheelbase has been enlarged, and the tires have a greater depth of tread and spacing for better grip. Finally, the machines’ overall weight has been optimized, helping to reduce the tire ground pressure. Single-tire ground pressure is reduced by 10%. These factors, combined with the advantages of the active oscillating function which was already a feature of the previous generation of rough-terrain scissor lifts, enhance the off-road performance and adaptability to complex ground conditions.

The extension platform has been upgraded to help improve the operating experience, with the bearing mechanism optimized for a smoother retraction, and the ability to be locked in any position, allowing for more efficient work. There is also an optional 7.4m-long platform, which provides a larger working space for greater working efficiency. In addition, the second-generation machines feature an increased outrigger span, which enhances stability during operation.

A range of features has been introduced to boost product reliability. A small door has been added to the ground operation window, providing enhanced water- and dustproofing for electrical components. A fuel level detection function has been introduced. The ground control panel has been upgraded to an electric control box, and an optimized wiring harness and simplified components allow for more stable signal transmission. After the product upgrade, the weight is reduced and the energy consumption of the lifting and lowering cycle is reduced by 33%.

“The advantages introduced to this new generation of rough-terrain scissor lifts are designed to meet real-world needs. We listen carefully to the feedback from our partners and customers on their experiences of owning and operating Sinoboom machines, and the features they would like to see. We integrate this information into our R&D process to ensure that Sinoboom equipment continues to support safe and reliable work at height.”
